Bespoke Table Linens

The table cloth pictured was made to fit a large dining table (2.4m x 1.2m) in a colourful bird-print fabric with a contrasting striped edge detail. I can make table cloths, runners, place mats and serviettes to suit all table shapes and sizes.

Cushion Making Service

The cushion pictured was designed and made (using a photograph of a much-loved family dog) in freehand machine embroidery. The cushion is piped and feather-filled.

Special Projects

This is Freddy Fox, a lesser known character from the Peppa Pig TV programme who has not yet been mass-produced as a soft toy. I created a pattern and made the toy in an emergency request from Santa, two weeks before Christmas 2014. He made one little girl very happy indeed.

Interior Design Service

This is a teenage girl's bedroom with travel-themed feature wallpaper, matching bedlinens and accessories, and made-to-measure hand-drawn roman blinds in deep purple linen. I am available for interior design consultation on all types of room make-over - single or multiple rooms; domestic or commercial.

Machine Sewing Tuition

I have been teaching machine sewing for many years. If you have acquired a sewing machine - but don't know how to use it - I can provide one-to-one or group sewing workshops which will give you the confidence and expertise to tackle new sewing projects.

Tote Bags

It's good to have a nice sized tote bag (those pictured measure 45cm x 45cm) that's both colourful and practical. They have contrasting lining and a divided internal pocket for your phone and other bits and bobs. I can make them in any colour or size ... they're a great hand-made gift.

Cakes

This eclectic display of cupcakes was made by me for a friend's daughter's 21st birthday party. I baked 80 cakes and decorated them in 10 different designs using buttercream and a variety of sweet embellishments. I also make large celebration cakes using chocolate ganache and various sweet combinations.

Light Upholstery

I tutor groups in small, manageable re-upholstery projects such as the the antique chair shown. I can also do the work for you, be it re-covering dining chairs or designing and making a new headboard for your bed.

Wallhangings

These lightly padded wall hangings make a lovely personalised gift for a newborn baby or a child's birthday. Complete with laths top and bottom, and hanging loops. A beautiful addition to your little one's bedroom.

Made to measure Roman Blinds

The blinds pictured were made in pure silk to match the curtains in the first picture, again with organza ribbon detail. They are easy to operate, but work best on windows up to 120cm wide. They need a lot less material than curtains, so you can consider more luxurious fabrics.
